CES 2011: Cameras at CES 2011 Sony Cyber-shot T110
Sony showcased a whole host of new cameras at CES including the dinky DSC-T110, with its touch screen control and simple functionality.
The slim Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T110 model packs 16.1MP into its compact frame along with some likeable features.

The DSC-T110 an entry level model, replacing the previous T99 and there are few differences between the old and the new.
The most significant difference is the increase in mega-pixels from 14Mp to 16.1Mp. However, in the world of ever-increasing pixel counts, the difference you see in your photos may be minimal and in our lab tests we’ve previously found that compact models with higher pixel counts can struggle to take good shots in tough low light conditions.

Taking a shot
The T110 is super easy to use. All functions - aside from powering on and the shutter release – are on the touch screen.
In the limited time we spend with the camera at CES we found the screen responsive and menus are simple to find and follow.
It’s a real point-and- shoot job including automatic setting like Panoramic Sweep – so you can pan round and print short, wide shots. It also includes face and smile recognition options. It can also capture 720p HD video.
It’ll be available in a range of colours.
It’s launching in the US in March but we weren’t able to get a confirmed launch date for the UK.
