Nikon Coolpix P7000 First Look
Nikon's Coolpix P7000 is an advanced bridge camera, featuring a 10.1Mp CCD sensor and a 7.1x zoom with a focal length starting at a wide 28mm, and extending to 200mm.
The P7000 features a bracketing function, which takes a series of shots with slightly different exposure values, allowing the user to then choose the best photograph to keep.

The ISO on the Nikon P7000 can be set between 100 and 3,200, and there are priority modes for both shutter speed and aperture control - along with full manual control and 18 scene modes.

The P7000 is able to render still images in both JPEG and RAW file formats, and is also able to capture 720p HD video with stereo sound. An external microphone socket is also present.
The HDMI port will allow for video playback on an HD TV, or the clips can be viewed on the 3-inch high resolution (920K dot) screen.
