Sony alpha 230

The Sony alpha 230 is designed for users graduating from compact digital photography to digital SLR photography, and features a host of functions to make the transition more comfortable

Sony alpha 230

The Sony alpha 230 is the successor to the Best Buy sony alpha 200. It's been designed to help ease those familiar with compact digital cameras into digital SLR photography.

The Sony alpha 230 features a host of on-screen diagrams and text that help entry-level DSLR photographers understand and use the features that are common on digital SLRs.

The image sensor provides 10.2Mp of resolution and the screen on the back measures 2.7-inches diagonally. Unfortunately, the LCD doesn’t offer Live View, a feature that’s becoming more common on DSLRs, so you’ll have less of an idea of what the final picture will look like until it’s been taken.
