Superzoom or compact?
Sort for the type of bridge camera you want. Each has advanced controls, but superzooms are large with big zooms. Compact bridge cameras are smaller but zoom is very limited.
High resolutions help you enlarge your prints or zoom and crop your photos when digitally editing.
RAW files capture images with less in-camera processing, giving you more editing options with your photographs.
A hot shoe allows you to attach an external flash gun to the camera.

What type of viewfinder the camera has
Electronic viewfinders offer small replicas of the rear LCD screen, letting you preview picture settings. Optical viewfinders on bridge cameras are more basic small windows to look through.

720p and 1080p are both high definition recording resolutions, though 1080p, or 'full-HD' is more detailed.
