A lovely camera bought last year that has produced many fine pictures and HD videos. Unfortunately the memory card has stuck in the camera and cannot be removed no matter how I juggle. I am currently pricing the difference between repair via Canon and the purchase of new. The new purchase,if chosen, will have a viewfinder as I found in sunlight the screen is difficult to read.

My only criticism is the lack of viewfinder,as the screen display can be a bit indistinct in bright sunlight,-other than that it performs superbly,giving a wide field of view and excellent pictures in all conditions.It is easy to use,and has delivered results on a par with a top level 35mm. DSLR camera,definitely an excellent purchase.It also appears robust,as a couple of accidental drops on site have caused no ill effects!

Bought a Canon Ixus 2 years ago based on Which? recommendation as Best Buy. Although it takes good quality photographs the screen has now broken and will now only capture videos. Although I understand all technology has a certain shelf life, I was expecting it to last for a longer duration than 2 years and 4 months. Is not worth mending either as will cost £120 to fix.

For such a small camera it has a lot to offer the amateur photographer. I don't fully understand much of today's technology, never the less I've found this camera easy to understand and very easy to use.I think my son made an excellent choice.
