Digital cameras: Compare features & prices Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS40 review

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS40 is a compact, lightweight camera with a good 24mm wide angle, but 5x optical zoom is limited, especially considering that the FS35 - which launched in 2011 - offers 8x optical zoom and more megapixels for only around £20 more. But for those wanting a low-priced basic camera, is this Panasonic Lumix model worth considering? We've put it through our tests to find out.
