Digital SLR: Compare features & prices Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 review Back to Results

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1 marks the start of a new range of compact system cameras in Panasonic's micro four-thirds line-up. It's compact like the GF3 but, unlike that camera, it has more manual controls to satisfy enthusiasts. There's a 15.8Mp Live MOS sensor, a host of manual controls and it shoots HD video at 1080p. We've put the GX1 through our tests to see how it compares against the competition.
