How to use the TV wizard
To launch the plasma, LCD and LED TV connection wizard click on the link in the box on the right hand side of the page.
Select your TV equipment
Simply select the TV and video equipment you own by clicking and dragging the relevant icons into our virtual living-room.
You have the option to select the type of television – be it a good old conventional CRT or a new plasma TV, LED or LCD TV – and the number of Scart or HDMI sockets it has. If you're in the market for the best TV make sure to check out our independent expert HD TV reviews.
HD TV and video add-ons
You can then choose from a multitude of add-ons, including Freeview, Freeview HD, Sky, Freesat and Virgin boxes (including HD TV options), a VCR, DVD recorder and DVD player or Blu-ray player, plus stereo and surround sound systems.
Once you've arrived at the desired set-up simply click ‘connect’ and a fully wired–up diagram (including all the Scart and HDMI cables), plus a summary of exactly what it all does, will appear.
