CES 2011: TVs at CES 2011 Panasonic Viera D30 series
Panasonic’s new D30 LED series features a subtle new design, significantly enhanced internet-TV capabilities and some of Panasonic’s tell-tale build quality strengths.
It may not have the immediately striking good looks of some of the competition but the sleek lines and subtle flush design of the D30 still has plenty of aesthetic appeal.
More importantly than surface looks, the Panasonic IPS Alpha panel appears to deliver the usual solid viewing experience whatever the angle it’s viewed from (many competitor LCD and LED TVs fade when watched from anywhere but head-on).

Panasonic add Viera Connect
Viera Connect promises far more apps than last years Viera cast system. Panasonic has now included access to its own app store (there’s a mix of free and paid for apps) and some limited web browsing, though the odd looking, and sometimes confusing app menu system remains the same.
The D30 series is available in a series of sizes from 32- to 42-inch. The DT30 series offers the same design and functionality but with 3D bundled into the package – Panasonic’s first move into non-plasma 3D.
