IFA consumer electronics show 2010 Cameras and camcorders at IFA 2010
Panasonic HDC-SDT750 3D camcorder
Panasonic has weighed in heavily on the 3D scales at this year's IFA tech show with a couple of tools for helping consumers create their own 3D content.
First up is the HDC-SDT750 3D camcorder. The gadget is far superior to the toy Aiptek 3D camcorder that we've seen recently. The catch is, however, that the Aiptek i2 will set you back £200, while the SDT750 will cost around £1,400. If you want to make decent 3D films though, you should save those pennies and go for this model.

Panasonic 3D lens adaptor for micro four-third cameras
We've tested a few micro four-third cameras from Panasonic, but only when in 2D mode. This lens adaptor opens up a third dimension to the still and video capabilities of these cameras.
We'll give you the full low-down on model compatibility and even performance soon. But in the meantime, watch the clip below to see how the 3D lens attachment works.

Sony Alpha A55 and Sony Alpha A33 SLTs
The Sony Alpha A55 and the Sony Alpha A33 were announced last week, but the IFA tech show in Berlin has been the first time that the exciting new digital SLTs have been on show.
The new SLTs (single lens translucent) are a completely new breed of camera. The Sony 16Mp A55 can capture an impressive ten frames per second (fps), while the 14Mp A33 can grab 7fps.
The speed of these cameras is largely down to the lack of a moving mirror, but speed isn't everything. When it comes to a camera's performance, picture quality is king, and it's only when we put it through our rigorous lab testing that we'll know how it compares to existing digital SLRs, micro four-thirds and even compact cameras.
To find out more about the new Sony A55 and A33 SLTs read our news story, or watch the video below. To find the best digital cameras and digital SLRs, check out our in-depth reviews.

Sony Alpha a560 and Sony Alpha a580
Not content with revolutionising the make up of a camera with the A55 and A33 SLTs, Sony has also updated its digital SLR lineup with two new models: the A560 and the A580.

Sony Bloggie Touch
The Sony Bloggie now has touchscreen functionality
We first saw the Sony Bloggie at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, but the 360 degree camera has now had a makeover.
The new Bloggie Touch has, as the name suggests, touchscreen operation - and it's carried out by a swipe or a press of the finger on the device's 3-inch LCD.
The Sony Bloggie Touch is capable of grabbing full HD video (1920x1080) as well as the 360-degree 12.8Mp still photographs.
Watch the new Sony Bloggie Touch in action in the video below, and to see the original Sony Bloggie in action check out our first look video from the CES shot earlier this year.

Samsung has announced the ST600 (pictured) and the ST100 cameras. Both models feature the 2view screens to help with composing self portraits.
Samsung 2View cameras - the ST100 and the ST600
Samsung has had a few 2view cameras before now, and based on the fact that the South Korean manufacturer has just unveiled two more, they must be selling well.
The new models each feature a front-facing 1.8-inch LCD designed to help the composition of self portraits. The rear facing LCDs each measure 3-inches and both feature touchscreen operational controls.
While both the ST100 and the ST600 have 5x optical zooms, the ST600's zoom begins with a wide 27mm. Both models feature a 14Mp sensor.

Samsung HMC-T10 HD camcorder
The Samsung HMX-T10 has a screen that's angled upwards for more comfortable filming.
The Samsung HMC-T10 camcorder might have specifications that look similar to many other HD camcorders, but the the lens on this model is tilted upwards by 25 degrees.
So what? You might ask, but thanks to this angled lens holding the camera is that little bit more comfortable than holding a regular camcorder. The reason is that you don't have to hold it as high.
To find out more about this camcorder, watch the first look video below, or read our Samsung HMC-T10 news story.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5
We liked the LX3 when we tested it in our labs, and we expect great things from that camera's predecessor too: the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5.
The new model has a more powerful zoom (with a very wide angle lens), an improved sensor, and a new button layout.
See how the LX3 fared in our tests by clicking on our digital camera reviews, and watch the new LX5 in action in our video first look below
