The LG 42LS3400 is a surprisingly affordable 42-inch LED TV with a Full HD 1080p resolution. It's not hard to see where corners have been cut in the specification - there's no built-in Freeview HD tuner, or any smart TV features to speak of - but if LG can deliver on sound and picture quality, this 42-inch screen could still be a winner for those using an external Sky, Virgin or Freeview HD box.
