LG's 42PM470T seems to pack in everything you might want from a TV at a shockingly affordable price, with a 42-inch plasma screen, smart TV features, a Freeview HD tuner and an easy upgrade path to 3D. However, with an HD ready rather than a Full-HD screen, there's a risk of losing some definition and detail to gain all those goodies. Is it a compromise worth making?
