Panasonic still believes in plasma, and the technology can deliver great 3D pictures. But what about conventional 2D material? We put the Panasonic Viera TX-P42ST50B, a 42-inch plasma TV, through our tests to find out.!br!!br!Sadly, picture quality isn't consistently great on this TV. While the sound is consistent, it's consistently bad. The Panasonic has some great Smart TV features, though they're not always easy to use, but it's far from the perfect TV and rather expensive to run.
