Panasonic's SC-HTB10 sound bar looks like a relative bargain. It costs less than £200, has a versatile HDMI input, will work with any brand of TV and is suitable for displays sized between 32- and 52-inches. However, it doesn't come supplied with a cable so isn't ready to use straight out of the box.
