About Newport Advocacy Service

Dewis CIL provides independent advocacy for adults who are eligible for the service. Advocacy means to speak up for someone. Advocacy is about making sure that people's voices are heard and listened to. It's about helping people to make their own choices in life. It provides people with the chance to be as independent as they want to be.

  • Residents of Newport who are aged 18 and over (or 16 and over if they are in transition), and have or care for someone who has a: physical disability; a sensory impairment; a learning impairment; conditions relating to older age; dementia; a terminal or degenerative condition
