Willow Wood provides a free and confidential counselling service to patients, their families, friends and carers. The diagnosis of a life limiting illness or the death of a member or friend can be devastating, and may bring about stronger emotions than you have previously experienced or expected. For some people counselling can help with understanding the complexity of feelings they experience. Counselling provides a private and confidential space to explore and make sense of thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgement. If eligible for the service, clients can be offered six to twelve weekly sessions lasting for fifty minutes each.
Please contact the service provider for details of any costs.
