About Droitwich Spa Meeting Centre - helping people to live well with dementia

People living with mild to moderate dementia in Droitwich Spa and surrounding areas can attend the Meeting Centre up to three days per week to take part in activities such as singing, shopping, reminiscence, music, dance, sports, creativity sessions or outings. All sessions will be built around the interests of the people who attend. Carers and families are also fully involved in the programme of support alongside the person living with dementia which includes friendly and informative discussion groups; assistance and support with practical, emotional and social issues; regular one-to-one advice and support. The Meeting Centre provides a place where people are supported to understand and adapt to living with dementia. Meeting Centres offer person-centred support for people with dementia and their carers / family.
