About Baildon Wellbeing Cafe

Baildon Well Being Cafe is a fun, monthly social event for older people who are feeling isolated or experiencing memory loss, and their carers. On arrival, clients can sit down at tables decorated with flowers and enjoy refreshments and welcoming company. Five or six times a year, there are speakers on subjects of interest to carers, such as dementia, benefits, pensions or holidays designed for people experiencing memory loss. There is also usually music, singing and dancing, and a raffle. Nine volunteers assist in running the group and have the chance to form lasting relationships with those who attend.
