About Driving Ability Assessment

The Driving Ability Assessment looks at both your ability to control the vehicle and to deal with traffic and other road users. It includes people with dementia and can also advise on disability driving aids and car adaptations. Drivers can self-refer, or may be referred by an health professional, Motability or the DVLA if they have reported a medical condition. The Driving Assessment Centre is not part of the DVLA.
