Nintendo wins in 2005

Nintendo's innovation reaps rewards.

The portable Nintendo DS has been heralded as the most innovative new product in the Which? Awards 2005.

The world of computer games is a frenzy of activity with Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo all readying important releases.

But we think Nintendo’s philosophy of imaginative games makes it stand out from the rest and is epitomised by its GBP 100 Nintendo DS.

It is classic Nintendo and the innovation looks set to continue with the company’s next release, the Revolution home console.

Which? has launched the new annual awards to honour companies who have produced the best products and services over the past year.

Editor Malcolm Coles says: ‘We believe in giving credit where credit’s due so, for the first time, we’ve created a roll-call of companies that have given customers outstanding service in the past year.’
