Baby food recalled

Second scare over Truuuly Scrumptious Organic

More batches of baby food have been recalled amid fears that small pieces of plastic could be in them.

The recall of Truuuly Scrumptious Organic Baby Food follows an earlier withdrawal, for the same reason, on 21 July this year.

The affected products, sold in plastic tubs, have the following ‘best before’ dates: April 2007, May 2007, June 2007 and July 2007. They include the flavours Carrot, Parsnip and Swede 100g; Sweetcorn Chowder 140g and 160g; Vegetable and Lentil Bake 160g; Vegetable Gratin 140g and 160g; Winter Vegetables and Chicken 140g, 160g and 220g; Cottage Pie 140g, 160g, 200g and 220g; and Shepherds Pie 220g.

The company said no other Truuuly Scrumptious Organic Baby Food products are known to be affected.

Notices to explain the withdrawal have been put up in stores. If you have bought the affected products, you can take them back to the store where they were bought for a full refund.
