Russell Hobbs recalls kettles

Handle on affected model could break off

Russell Hobbs recalls kettle

Russell Hobbs has recalled some of its kettles over fears the handle could break off and scald people.

The affected kettle is the model 10789 sold between November 2005 and March 2007.

To find out whether you have an affected kettle, look on the underside of the power base.

There you will find an oval shaped label which contains a four digit code followed by a letter.

Affected codes

The models affected are codes from 0531M to 0612M.

If your product has an affected code but contains a green dot at the side of the oval label, this does not need to be returned.

If you do have an affected kettle, stop using it immediately and return it to the store where it was purchased for a replacement or full refund.

Alternatively contact the Russell Hobbs customer service department on Freephone 0800 954 8927.
