Roberts says new radio is world first

It's a DAB, FM and internet radio combined

Roberts has launched what it claims is a world first – a DAB, FM and internet radio rolled into one.

As well as all the usual features you’d normally associate with a DAB radio, the Stream 202 can connect to the web through wireless broadband (Wi-Fi) to allow you to tune into thousands of stations around the world.

The Stream 202, which costs £149.99, has a ‘listen again’ feature that lets you listen to previously broadcast BBC programmes whenever you want.

Station information appears on the screen, and is automatically updated and sorted into country or genre.

Digital radio

If you have Wi-Fi at home you can stream music from your PC to the radio and it also has an input socket so that you can plug in and playback your MP3 player.

Which? digital radio expert Lizzy Payne said: ‘The Roberts Stream 202 sounds like a really interesting radio that will give consumers lots of flexibility.

‘We’ll be putting it through its paces and publishing our results soon.’

The Stream 202 comes in silver and black.
