Fujitsu promises a laptop for life

Get a replacement laptop every three years

Fujitsu Siemens lifebook notebook for life

Fujitsu Siemens is offering consumers the opportunity to replace their laptop every three years for the rest of their lives.

The Fujitsu Siemens deal allows anyone who buys a notebook from the firm’s Lifebook range to regularly swap it for a like for like replacement on the third anniversary of the purchase.

However, Lifebook users will have to buy a three-year warranty upgrade costing around £50 on top of the cost of the laptop, which start from £1,031.

Lifebook customers will also have to make sure that they keep their original receipt in pristine condition as they will have to produce it when getting a replacement.

Consumers who have already purchased a Lifebook can register for the Lifebook4Life programme on the Fujitsu Siemens website www.fujitsu-siemens.co.uk/lifebook4life/

Paul Hoey, head of product marketing for Fujitsu Siemens Computers UK said: ‘We want everyone who becomes a Lifebook user to remain a Lifebook user – not only for the useful working life of their mobile PC, but for their own working career – and maybe beyond.’
