BlackBerry Curve 8520

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is now available through Virgin Media on a variety of tariffs offering unlimited mobile internet use.

There are several deals ranging from £20 to £40 per month with the exact cost depending on the length of the contract and the number of included minutes.

BlackBerry Curve 8520 from Virgin Media

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is the first BlackBerry smartphone to become available to UK customers through Virgin. The handset features a 2.5-inch screen and a full Qwerty keypad.

The handset is Wi-Fi enabled but isn’t 3G capable, meaning that unless you’re in a Wi-Fi hotspot, you’ll only be able to browse the internet using the slower 2G connection.

Best Mobile provider

Jon Barrow, Which? mobile phone expert, said: ‘The BlackBerry Curve 8520 has been around for several months but this announcement from Virgin Media is good news for consumers as the mobile network provider has scored favourably in our recent, annual mobile provider customer satisfaction survey. What’s more, with tariffs beginning at £20 per month, Virgin Media has set a competitive price’.
