Free flash with each Olympus E-P1 this Christmas

Olympus is offering a free FL-14 flash to all UK customers that buy an Olympus E-P1 camera this Christmas – a saving of £160, according to the company.

The Christmas promotion begins on Saturday 12 December 2009 and runs until the end of January 2010. Customers qualify for the free FL-14 flash buy buying an Olympus E-P1 micro four-thirds camera.

Customers need to register online and send their receipt and barcode to Olympus before 28th February 2010 in order to claim their flash, which is priced around £160 on Amazon’s website.

The Olympus E-P1 is a micro four-thirds camera, a new type of camera that is smaller than a digital SLR but offers an interchangeable lens system. To find out more about micro four thirds camera check out our video review of the newly announced Olympus E-P2.

The E-P1 can be bought from Jessops for around £600. The small camera lacks an integrated flash, but features a hot shoe connection on top where the FL-14 flash can be attached. Terms and conditions will be available on the Olympus website from 15 December 2010.
