Headlining Samsung’s 2010 digital camera line up is the 12.2Mp WB650 pocket superzoom camera.

The Samsung WB650 is 3cm thick, and includes a 15x optical zoom. The lens starts from wide angle of 24mm, making it easy to fit in group shots or wide landscapes according to Samsung.

The WB650 features a 3-inch AMOLED display. It uses organic light emitting diode (OLED) technology, with Samsung promising a sharp, clear screen that has low power consumption.

The WB650 has GPS geo-tagging, so you can record the exact location of your photos as you take them.

The Samsung WB650 is due for release in March, priced £299.

The ST5500 can upload photos to Flickr or Facebook, and using its HD movie mode it can upload videos directly to YouTube from the camera.

The Samsung ST5500 is due for release in March, priced £349.

Part of Samsung’s 2View range of twin-screen cameras, the PL150 has a 3-inch LCD screen on the rear of the camera, and a 1.5-inch LCD screen on the front.

Samsung says that the front LCD makes it easier to frame yourself when taking self-portraits. It has a “couple mode” to detect when two people together are within the shot, and automatically take a photo.

The PL150 can play animation clips – complete with audio – on the front screen to capture a young child’s attention as you take their photo.
