The Fuji HS10 with 30x optical zoom claims to be the ‘ultimate all-in-one camera for photographers’.

Fujifilm says the new model offers the control and versatility of a digital SLR without the cost or having to change the lens. The Fuji HS10 is available from Jessops for £399.

The HS10 has a 30x optical zoom (24-720mm) with manual on lens zoom control and high resolution tilting LCD screen.

There’s an electronic viewfinder with eye sensor, which automatically switches on when the camera is brought up to your eye and off again when taken away.

Fujifilm claims this model leads the way in low-light technology and achieves results even in the most challenging shooting conditions with it’s ‘Pro Low Light’ mode.

Action shots with the Fuji HS10

According to Fujifilm, the camera is well equipped to capture action shots at their best, the high speed burst mode records up to seven shots at ten frames at full resolution. The Fuji HS10 records movies in high definition (HD) at full 1080p HD resolution. It also highlights the new motion panorama mode for ‘one shot’ sweeping panoramas.

Which? digital cameras expert Richard Parris says, ‘Only a year ago we were impressed to be seeing cameras with 20x or even 24x zooms. A 30x zoom offers huge potential to users, and we look forward to testing the HS10 to see if it can deliver great pictures as well’.
