New fridge freezer has radio and recorder

Talking fridge also has touch controls

Gorenje NRK67358E fridge freezer

A fridge freezer that can record and play back voice messages and features a radio has just been launched.

According to maker Gorenje, the NRK67358E fridge freezer’s ability ‘to record and play back voice messages’ will appeal to busy families on the go. The fridge freezer also comes with an integrated AM/FM radio, a touch-control screen and ‘cookbook hints and tips’.

The manufacturer claims this fridge freezer model is A+ rated for energy, has an ‘eco’ temperature mode, auto freezer defrost plus fast-freeze and fast-cool options.

It also comes equipped with a ‘partial frost free’ system that eliminates moisture in the freezer but not the fridge sections –  meaning, it says, fruit and veg stored in the fridge will stay fresher and crisper for longer.

Fridge freezers on test

We haven’t put this fridge freezer model’s gadgetry to the test in the Which? lab – but we have reviewed 128 other fridge freezer models and recently reported on a colourful new fridge freezer collection from the company back in January.

If you’re looking for a new fridge freezer, we’ve also got plenty of advice to help you buy the best fridge freezer for you and your family, as well as reviews of standalone fridges and freezers.

This fridge freezer is expected to cost around £1,800 – you can find your nearest shop and more details via the Gorenje website
