Renault Mégane CC hits showrooms in July

Renault has announced the pricing and specification for its new Mégane Coupé-Convertible, which hits UK showrooms in July.

Two trim levels, loads of kit

The new Renault Mégane CC will be available in Dynamique TomTom and GT trim levels, with both versions receiving a generous level of standard equipment including Carminat TomTom, satellite navigation, 17-inch alloy wheels and Bluetooth.

All Dynamique TomTom models also get air conditioning, MP3 player connectivity, automatic lights and wipers, cruise control, keyless go, fixed glass wind deflector and a panoramic glass folding roof.

The upgrade to GT adds unique exterior styling enhancements, 18-inch alloy wheels, sports seats, aluminium pedals, carbon trimmings, analogue rev counter, rear parking sensors and electric folding door mirrors.

1.5 diesel emits just 130g/km CO2

Most efficient CC in class

Petrol engine choices for the Dynamique TomTom consist of 1.4-litre TCe 130 turbo and 2.0-litre CVT 140 with Continuously Variable Transmission automatic gearbox. The diesel options are 1.5-litre dCi 110, which comes as standard with a new EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch – like Volkswagen’s DSG) gearbox or 1.9 dCi 130.

The 1.5 diesel emits just 130g/km CO2, making it the most efficient coupé-cabriolet in its class; it returns an impressive 56.5mpg combined (according to EU testing figures). GT specification is offered with either a 2.0-litre TCe 180 turbo petrol or a 2.0-litre dCi 160 turbodiesel.

Mégane CC available to order from June

Prices for the new Renault Mégane CC start at £21,595 for the 1.4 turbo petrol Dynamique TomTom, rising to £25,830 for the 2.0-litre turbodiesel GT.

Available to order from 4 June, the first cars should arrive at dealers on 9 July.
