You can cook chips for the whole family with the new addition to Tefal’s Actifry range of fryers that cook chips with just a spoonful of oil.
Two new products join the original Actifry; the Tefal Family model boasts a 50% larger capacity (1.5kg) while a limited edition model, identical to the original model, comes in a sleek, black finish.
Tefal claims the Actifry Family is ‘perfect for big families’, and it comes with a new digital control LCD screen. It’s also fitted with an ‘auto-off feature’ which automatically turns the fryer off once it’s finished cooking.
Cheap as chips?
Which? fryers expert Lisa Galliers says: ‘The Actifry is a really popular model as it uses a small amount of oil to cook chips, compared to other fryers on the market.
The increased capacity will appeal to families, but they’re not the cheapest fryers around; the white and limited-edition black version costs £199 each while the family-sized version will set you back a whopping £229.’
