Deal of the week: Russell Hobbs Quick2Boil kettle

Which? has been scouring the web this week for the best online deals on the Russell Hobbs Quick2Boil, a kettle and one-cup hot water dispenser in one.

The Quick2Boil offers two appliances in one unit: a standard kettle and an instant dispenser able to pour 235ml of boiling water ‘in seconds’ – good if you’re in a rush in the morning, or only need to boil a small amount of water at a time.

Russell Hobbs recommends shops sell the kettle for £74.99 – but we’d suggest visiting Kitchen Science or sister website Laskys, where you can get hold of a Quick2Boil for £58.70 including free delivery.

So how quick is the Quick2Boil? When our testers got their hands on one, we timed the water dispenser part of the Quick2Boil and found it was able to start dispensing hot water within 35 seconds, which is certainly quicker than boiling the kettle with the minimum fill of 350ml.

Find out what else our testers thought – and if the Quick2Boil was good enough to score a Which? Best Buy recommendation – in our kettles review.

The Russell Hobbs Quick2Boil is one of several ‘instant’ hot water dispensers on the market – you can compare it with the Breville Hot Cup, Morphy Richards Meno One Cup and .

This model is matt black and silver, and there’s also a matching toaster available.
