The Samsung ebook reader comes with an integrated pen for free handwriting and can be used as a notebook and diary. It allows you to use post-it style memos to modify books, newspapers and images directly on screen.

There’s a built-in MP3 player and 2GB of memory available on this model, which weighs in at 513g, similar to the Amazon Kindle DX which is 538g.

The Amazon Kindle DX is a larger version of the popular original Amazon Kindle – one of the first ebook readers on the market. Have a look at our Amazon Kindle DX video to see it in action.

Samsung ebook readers reviewed

Which? ebook reader expert Mike Briggs says: ‘We were disappointed with Samsung’s first attempt at an ebook reader, the E60. It was bulky, heavy and sluggish compared to our Best Buys. Hopefully this version will be an improvement’.

We’ll be putting the E65 straight through our lab tests where we put our experts to work assessing how well the devices perform.

In the meantime check out the ebook reader reviews to see how the latest models from Amazon and Sony compare.
