Samsung Galaxy Tab accessories - keyboard and multimedia docks

Samsung has unveiled a range of accessories for the Galaxy Tab, its first tablet computer, due in UK shops from 1 November 2010.

Although UK mobile networks have yet to announce tariffs for the Samsung Galaxy Tab, Carphone Warehouse yesterday announced pre-order pricing for the Tab at £529.99 or £499.99 when combined with a £10-per-month Talk Mobile tariff on a 30-day rolling contract that includes an allowance of 1GB of data per month.

Which? already has an exclusive hands-on video guide to the Samsung Galaxy Tab, exploring all its key features.

Today, Carphone Warehouse also announced a range of Samsung Galaxy Tab accessories, including:

  • Galaxy Tab keyboard dock – £69.99 – exclusive to Carphone Warehouse for six weeks after launch
  • Multimedia desk dock with charger, HDMI and 3.5mm sockets – £39.99
  • Notebook case which converts to a stand – £29.99
  • Leather slip case – £24.99
  • Gel case – £19.99

Other accessories include a car charger, travel adaptor, headphones and TV-out and USB data cables.

The keyboard dock has a full-sized 83-key keyboard that holds the 7-inch Galaxy Tab in a portrait orientation, and has connections for both charging the Tab and for connecting to its 3.5mm audio output jack.
