Tesco Clubcard customers can now double the value of their Clubcard vouchers under the supermarket’s newly launched Big Christmas Exchange scheme.

Until 5 December 2010, Tesco Clubcard customers can use their vouchers in-store and online to gain double discounts on a number of non-food items ranging from wine and champagne to toys, clothes and computers. You can see how Tesco fares in the battle of online supermarkets in our survey of Which? members.

Which? shopping expert Sarah Dennis says: ‘Clearly if you’re shopping with Tesco this Christmas anyway, then it’s worth checking if you can take advantage of this special offer.

‘But do check the prices of key Christmas gifts, such as the must-have toys in other high street and online shops first, to ensure that you’re making your money work as hard as it can this Christmas. If Tesco isn’t the cheapest for certain products, it gives you more scope to spend your vouchers on other items.’

Double value Tesco Clubcard vouchers

Customers who already have Clubcard vouchers from previous statements can use these in the scheme, as well as the latest ones arriving in November statements. And you’re still able to use your vouchers for other offers, such as meals out, if nothing takes your fancy under the new scheme.

But you can only claim double discount in multiplies of £5 and £10 (you can use vouchers in smaller denominations to make this up).
