Samsung has announced that it will be showcasing the Samsung WB700 digital camera at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2011.
The 14Mp Samsung WB700 is expected to become available in April 2011 when it will sell for around £250.
Samsung WB700 superzoom camera
The digital camera has an 18x optical zoom, which Samsung claims is quiet in it operation. A noisy mechanical zoom can sometimes be heard when using a camera’s video mode, which can ruin video clips. The WB700 is able to capture HD video at 720p resolution.
Which? researchers shall be at CES 2011 to bring you a first look video of the WB700 in action and to test how quiet the camera’s zoom really is.
Art filters for creative photography
Samsung has included a selection of art filters in the WB700’s toolbox. Users can add artistic effects to their shots using the fisheye, miniature, soft focus, sketch or cinema filters. The WB700 also supports full manual control of the aperture and shutter speed, as well as priority modes.
