Deal of the week: Bosch PSB 18 Li-2 cordless drill

Planning a spot of spring DIY over the coming weeks? This Bosch combination drill might come in handy – here’s where to buy it for less.

Head to online all-rounder Amazon rather than a dedicated DIY shop to find this drill for £87.99. You can get free delivery if you select the ‘Super Saver’ option, and are willing to wait the three to five business days for it to arrive.

If you get in quick with your order and select the Express Delivery option (for an extra £8.99) you might – just – be able to get it in time for the forthcoming bank holiday weekend.

Either way, the drill still works out cheaper than buying it at Homebase – where it’s currently priced just less than £170 – or B&Q, where it’s £149.98.

Bosch PSB 18 Li-2 cordless drill

The Bosch PSB 18 Li-2 cordless combi drill has a two-speed gearbox and a ‘long life’ lithium-ion battery. It comes with a single battery pack and a charger dock – the battery can be charged on its own or with the tool.

It’s one of the models just tested in the Which? test lab – visit our full cordless drills review for ratings on 22 different drills in total.

We test drills’ endurance by drilling and screwdriving into wood and metal for around 33 hours – that’s the equivalent of about 10 years of DIY use. Only the top-scoring drills are given a Which? Best Buy stamp of approval.
