Video booth arrives in Glasgow to capture views on banking

Buchanan Galleries first to host video booth

For one week only, a video booth is visiting UK cities to capture consumers’ views on banking reform. Today the booth has checked into the Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow.

The tour takes place ahead of a Which? and Independent Commission on Banking (ICB) event ‘Which? – Your Voice for Better Banking’. The joint event will take place in central London on the evening of 24 May. The video booth and the event provide an opportunity to consult consumers on the ICB’s recommendations for banking reform for the UK Government, due to be submitted in September 2011.

Video booth locations

After its visit to the Buchanan Galleries, the booth will be continuing its journey to

  • Victoria Street, Blackpool, on Wednesday 11 May
  • St David’s Shopping Centre, Cardiff, on Thursday 12 May
  • Kings Cross St Pancras station, London, on Friday 13 May

Your Voice for Better Banking

Visit a video booth at your nearest location and share your own views on banking, which we will in turn share with the ICB.

The event on 24 May is free to attend and will be hosted by broadcaster Paul Lewis. Event attendees will be invited to vote on what banking issues they believe are important, to explore motivations behind switching bank accounts and how overall services could be improved. Light refreshments will be provided.
