E. Coli: Sprouting seeds withdrawn

Sprouting seeds temporarily withdrawn from sale

Rocket Seedlings

In the light of the current E.coli scare in France, British seed company Thompson & Morgan has withdrawn some sprouting seeds from sale.

Although there has been no established link between the seeds and the current outbreak of E.coli, the following varieties have temporarily been withdrawn from sale as a precautionary measure:

Sprouting Seeds Rocket

Sprouting Seeds White Mustard

Sprouting Seeds Fenugreek

Sprouting Seeds Sandwich Mix

Sprouting Seeds Salad Sprouts Mix

The company is also advising people who have already bought the above products not to grow or eat them. It is offering refunds to anyone affected.

T&M says that consumers can grow and eat all other Thompson & Morgan edible products with complete confidence.
