Watch our video review of the small 4x4

Watch our video review of the BMW X3

The latest BMW X3 promises 4×4 space and versatility as well as respectable fuel economy.

It’s one of the recent cars aiming to take advantage of buyer’s desires for large, practical family transport that has all of the good points of 4×4 ownership without high running costs.

The latest version aims to address complaints of the original model, which was criticised for a bouncy ride and low-rent interior- so leather is now standard and it’s also got a revised chassis set-up.

BMW X3 video review

We’ve just completed a video review, which reveals all on the car, and whether it’s worth looking at instead of a Audi Q3, Skoda Yeti, Ford Kuga or VW Tiguan.

You can view the one-minute version of the video review here.

xDrive20d tested

We’ve also just put the xDrive20d through the unique in-depth Which? Car tests – it’s got a 2.0-litre common rail turbo diesel engine with good performance and claimed fuel economy of more than 50mpg.

But can it reach that figure in the real world?
