Newcomer isupplyenergy offers cheap electricity

Small energy provider competes with big companies

isupply energy

New electricity supplier isupplyenergy launches with competitive electricity prices.

isupplyenergy’s charges £416 a year for a medium electricity user. This is just above the current market leader Npower that charges £412.48 a year (on its Electricity Online November 2013 tariff).

Which? Switch Product Executive Charlotte Berry says: ‘It’s good to see a competitively priced smaller supplier enter the energy market. We would encourage people to see how much they can save generally by visiting Which? Switch and comparing energy suppliers.’

The company’s electricity prices are cheapest in some regions, such as the East Midlands.

Only an electricity tariff

The company’s prices are fixed for twelve months although users will incur cancellation charges if they switch schemes before the year is up.

At the moment isupplyenergy is only offering electricity rather than duel fuel options, although the company says that it plans to supply gas in the future.

Users who like to pick up the telephone to resolve problems may be disappointed though, as the company does not have a customer services line, dealing with queries online.
