Which? looks at Morphy Richards 9 in 1 steam cleaner

Does the dual mop and steam cleaner impress?

Morphy Richards 9 in 1

With the Morphy Richards ‘9 in 1’ steam cleaner in hand, our researcher has steam cleaned his way around the house and even taken on the dreaded BBQ rack to bring you our first impressions.

The Morphy Richards steam cleaner claims to be 9 in 1, not because it’s nine contraptions in one but because it should be capable of cleaning nine different surfaces.

It’s a steam mop with a removable handheld cleaner and should let you clean both carpets and hard floors in mop mode.

Pull out the removable handheld cleaner and you’ll be armed to tackle work surfaces, windows, tiles and grouting, oven racks, upholstery, sanitaryware and clothing.

First impressions of the Morphy Richards 9 in 1

Our researcher has pitted this steam cleaner against blobs of strawberry jam, dirty windows, bathroom tiles and a grimy BBQ rack.

In our review we reveal just how successful the steam cleaner was at both light and intensive cleaning tasks and how much effort our researcher had to put in for the results achieved.

We’ve also turned a critical eye to how quickly it heats up and whether or not you’ll suffer a drop in steam while halfway through the cleaning.

Full steam cleaner test results on the way

While you can read our first impressions of this Morphy Richards steam cleaner right now, the 9 in 1 is currently on its way to the lab to be put through the full suite of tough Which? tests.

The full results and review will replace our first impressions around the middle of September. Check our steam cleaner reviews then to see if it’s good enough at cleaning to join the ranks of our existing Best Buys.
