BabyStyle has launched the Oyster2 pushchair, the latest version of the iconic Babystyle Oyster stroller.
The Babystyle Oyster2 has been updated with a whole host of features. Babystyle says these include ‘a lie-flat seat, a new ‘silent’ hood, high shine wheels to match the chassis and an improved harness for bigger children or those wearing bulky winter clothing.’
New Babystyle Oyster2
The Oyster 2 is compatible with the Oyster Max carrycot, and it can be turned into a travel system with the addition of an infant carrier. It also comes with an extendable hood, sun canopy with UV sunshade and a ‘silent’ hood – which should allow you to put it up without waking your baby.
The seat unit is reversible, which means you can keep your little one facing you for as long as you want, and Babystyle says the Oyster2 is ‘lightweight and compact, with a narrow width chassis’.
A new colour pack, featuring a colour matching apron, will be available for around £70.
Babystyle Oyster2 review
Which? pushchairs expert Lisa Galliers says: ‘The updates to the Oyster pushchair sounds interesting, especially the newly designed hood, which we’ve been told is a ‘silent’ hood. Some of them can be really noisy, which isn’t ideal if you pull it up just as your baby’s nodded off.
And it’s always good to see manufacturers making improvements to shopping baskets. You can never have too much storage, but it has to be easily accessible – even when the seat is fully reclined.
We’ll be getting the Oyster2 pushchair in to our offices for a for a first look review very shortly, so will look forward to seeing the updates before we send it off to be tested.’
