Which? has surveyed more than 2,000 parents to find out which baby products are the most and least useful.
Door baby bouncers have been rated by parents as the least useful baby product you can buy. Meanwhile, stair gates, baby monitors and baby sleeping bags have been rated as some of the most useful.
To find out which baby products are really worth buying, we asked mums and dads to tell us about all the baby products they had bought, excluding the obvious essentials like pushchairs, car seats and cots. We then ranked them according to how useful parents found each product overall.
We added up the total cost of the 10 least useful baby products and found that you could save up to £275 by avoiding them. This is the same price as some of our Best Buy pushchairs.

Least useful baby products
Door baby bouncers topped our list of the least useful baby products. They are much less popular than baby bouncer chairs, which actually made it into our top 10 list of most useful products.
Top and tail (baby washing) bowls take second place in our least useful list. It’s perhaps unsurprising that parents didn’t feel they added much value, as simply using two separate plastic bowls works just as well.

Most useful baby products
