Bugaboo announces new Buffalo Escape buggy

Limited edition pushchair on sale next February

Bugaboo Buffalo EscapeThe Bugaboo Buffalo Escape pushchair will cost £1,025 and come with a matching bag

Bugaboo has announced a new limited edition version of its Buffalo pushchair, the Bugaboo Buffalo Escape.

Available from February next year, Bugaboo has souped-up the design of the original Buffalo pushchair by adding a washed canvas Balsam Green fabric to the exterior and faux leather on the handle bar and carry handle.

We’ve previously put the original Bugaboo Buffalo through our tough lab tests. The large four-wheel all-terrain travel system has a reversible seat and can handle up to 10kg of cargo in its shopping basket.

But did the Buffalo impress our expert testers? Watch it in action and find out whether we awarded it Best Buy status in our Bugaboo Buffalo review.

What buggy should I buy?

If an off-road buggy isn’t what you’re looking for, there are plenty of other pushchairs that you can choose from. And there are lots of questions that you should consider before splashing your cash.

Are you going to need to transport your buggy on a bus or in the boot of a car? Should you be looking at lighter models if you need to haul it up loads of flights of stairs? Do you intend to use the pushchair immediately from birth? What’s the difference between a buggy, travel system and all-terrain?

We’ve got dozens of great tips on our website to make sure that you get the perfect pushchair for your little one – find out how to buy the best pushchair.

Which? pushchair reviews

Which? have tested literally hundreds of pushchairs over the years and we base our testing on the features that you tell us are the most important.

We test every detail that will be crucial for your day-to-day use of each buggy – from how it handles various terrains and the seat’s comfort, to how the handlebars feel and whether it’s difficult to fold and unfold.

If you can’t wait for the Buffalo Escape or you’re put off by its price tag, then check out what we thought of the Bugaboo Chameleon and Bee3, as well as models from other brands such as Silver Cross, Cosatto, Maclaren and Quinny – see them all in our 180+ pushchair reviews.
