Two new Best Buy washing machines revealed

Plus we name and shame a Don't Buy model to avoid

Which two washing machines have earned our Best Buy recommendation?

We’ve truly separated the wheat from the chaff in our latest washing machines group test, where we pitted 14 models priced from £208 to £879 against our tough independent cleaning tests.

Two new Best Buy washing machines emerged, each impressing us with brilliant cleaning power and superb spin-drying. The very worst on test was so poor at cleaning and terrible at rinsing that we’ve highlighted it as a Don’t Buy to avoid.

Head to our washing machine reviews to discover which models are worth splashing out on.

Are cheap washing machines worth it?

There’s a price difference of about £700 between the cheapest and most expensive machine in our group test – but we know from our years of testing that spending more doesn’t necessarily guarantee you’ll get a better, more reliable machine. In fact, shop on price alone and you could well end up shelling out a lot of money and still end up with a washing machine that does a shoddy job with your laundry.

At £208, the new Bush F621QW is one of the cheapest models we’ve tested – our full review reveals whether it’s a wise buy and how it fares against the top-priced model on test, the £879 Miele WDA210.

Bosch washing machines

We also put seven washing machines produced by Bosch under the microscope. Bosch is a household name that’s popular with Which? members, but there’s about £500 between the cheapest and most expensive Bosch models in our latest group test.

If you’re considering buying a Bosch washing machine, our reviews will guide you to the best value models. Our Best Buy washing machines page shows if any of its models at all have hit our Best Buy gold standard.
