November brings long, dark evenings and chilly mornings. So make curling up at home cost less by switching to a cheaper energy deal.

To help you find the best tariff for you before it gets even colder and darker, we’ve rounded up the top five deals across England, Scotland and Wales, plus picked out the cheapest deal for each region so you can save the most where you live.

Great service is worth taking into account in case you have any problems over winter. So we’ve also listed the cheapest gas and electricity tariff from a top-rated supplier in the latest Which? energy companies satisfaction survey for each region.

You could save around £315, on average, per year by switching to the cheapest deal on the market from a tariff at the level of the price cap. The amount you can save is based on average prices across the country.

Cheapest gas and electricity deals

Here are the five cheapest energy tariffs available now, based on the annual price for a household that uses a medium amount of gas and electricity.

We’ve listed the annual average price across all regions and how much this deal saves compared with the current price cap.

The price cap is currently £1,179 per year for a medium user, but your exact spend and savings depend on how much gas and electricity you use.

This month, none of the tariffs come with exit fees, so you’re free to switch whenever you wish. Three are variable, which means your prices can change whenever your energy company raises or lowers its prices.
