Main has more than 75 years' experience in the UK domestic gas boilers market, and says it provides excellent service and care to customers. Main is part of the BDR Thermea group, which operates in more than 70 countries worldwide.

The Main range of boilers is exclusively available from independent heating and plumbing merchants, and includes the Main Eco Elite Combi and Main Eco Elite System. You can find more details about the individual products in these ranges in our Main boiler reviews.

How much do Main boilers cost?

Main Heating does not sell boilers direct to consumers. They are supplied to Gas Safe-registered installers through plumbing and heating merchants. Main boilers cost from in the region of £570 to £750, depending on type and output. The cost of installation will vary from home to home and depends on the amount of work the installer needs to do to complete the installation to Building Regulations standards.

Main servicing and warranties

Main offers warranties for boilers up to 10 years. For warranties to be valid boilers must be registered within 30 days of installation and the installer must complete the Benchmark Commissioning Checklist and give it to the householder when handing over the boiler. The boiler must also have an annual service.
