Besafe IZI Go X1 Isofix review

***March 2020 update***
BeSafe has alerted us that it is recalling the iZi Go X1 car seat because of a potential safety issue. It has said that the fault is with certain models and only when using the seat with the Isofix base.
We’ve made this product (in this configuration) a Don’t Buy. We’ve done this to make owners and potential owners aware of the safety problems that exist with some of these seats.
This car seat is safe to use when installed using the car's seat belt. Identify if your car seat is one of the recalled models and what to do next.

The BeSafe IZI Go X1 is an egg-shaped rearward-facing Group 0+ infant car seat. It's suitable from birth up to 13kg, or around 15 months, and can be used with many popular pushchair brands, including Bugaboo, Quinny and Stokke, as part of a travel system. We've been told that certain models of this car seat, when fitted using the Isofix base, have a safety issue. Read the safety alert for more information.
