- The limescale filter looks as if it should be effective, but the large gaps around it render it next to useless. It's at least easy to take it in and out of the kettle for cleaning, though. There are also a couple of minor issues with using this kettle. Hard edges on the handle make it uncomfortable to hold, and you'll struggle to pour all the water out without tipping the kettle to awkward angles. Is there anything else I should know?
